srphelps
Hi all I have managed to bust 2 garman nuvi's the 205 and 205w.The 205 took me 2 1/2 months the second one took me less than 2 weeks. they both stopped reading from the satellite. now my question is could my Sirius radio or onstar or both be causing this to happen? It's kinda a rumor I heard.
david.reed21
I have owned several garmin gps, and never had any problems, unless I run one over, at anyrate, you can pick up a great deal of interfearance with the reciever with all of those devices arround. If the problem persists after you leave the are of interfearance, then you need to contact Garmin Customer service.

JohnA
now my question is could my Sirius radio or onstar or both be causing this to happen? It's kinda a rumor I heard. No. Overvoltage spikes from your car's voltage regulator could. Have you tried the reset button? Did you call Garmin for help or warranty, they are pretty good on the phone.
