Vick's Pit
I have the NAD M25 and find it to be a great amp. Maybe something to look at. Others have also had good things to say about Emotiva, Outlaw, Rotel, Anthem, ect.
Fish
I'd dump that sub and get 1 or 2 good subs.I have had the bk 125.2 and thought it had decent power.I now have an Emotiva 125 watt per ch,I like it loud every once in a while but never use all it's got before my brain vibrates. If you find you need more after that you must have a difficult room, maybe add more amp power. willland
Hey Jay, Welcome to the forum. What is your budget for an amp? Subwoofer? If you are happy with B&K, look at these. http://www.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?ampstran&1256827613&/B-K-7250-series-II-5x200wpc-(N http://www.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?ampsmult&1257456123&/B-K-7250------200x5-price-drop Here is another idea. http://www.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?intamult&1258848335&/Sunfire-Tgr3-Ht-Receiver-w/-7x Bill
PPW350
I agree with Fish, save the money that you're going to spend on the amp, get rid of your current JBL sub and get a better sub instead. I'd look into SVS for their subs. With your current JBL sub, you're not getting much of the subsonic information that's available on most DVDs, BluRays and HD DVDs nowadays. IMO, having deep clean bass that reach to the sub 20hz range, will add much more depth to your system, that will give you more noticeble improvement over the benefits that you'd get with a more powerful amp. Don't think your current B&K amp are lacking the sufficient power, unless you watch your movies at reference levels all the time, and in that case, I'm sure your current sub are having the worst time keeping up with the rest of the system anyways.
