rwklipsch
I just recently purchased a klf-c7 center channel from a friend.. I am comparing this center to the ksf-c5 center I currently have to decide which one to keep.. I am having a hard time trying to determine which one would be better.. I was wondering if there were anyone out there who knows alot about both these speakers that could provide helpful information about each.. I am currently using ksf-8.5 as my towers. I realize that the ksf-c5 should match the 8.5s well, but at the same time, I heard many good things about the klf-c7. So, I was wondering what other's people oppinions are on these 2 center channels..
T2K
I have both. Keep the C-5 and sell the C-7.Buy yourself a pair of KSF-S5 WDST surrounds with the proceeds from the C-7 sale. Two pair sold yesterday on E-Bay.The surrounds show up frequently on E-Bay.Be patient and snipe. ShapeShifter
Agree with Keith, the KSF-C5 is the perfect match to 8.5's. You'll thank him later. Wes ------------------ "KLIPSCH IS MUSIC"f>
Bulldawg
What is the size of your theater room? Fellow posters, would it be worth him hanging onto the C-7 if he plans to upgrade someday or wants to fill a very large size room better than the C-5? rwklipsch
it is going to be a 18x20ft room.. do u think the c7 would fill the room much better than the c-5?
T2K
rw,the KLF-C7 is simply not a good match for the KSF8.5's.The C-5 has a more refined sound and blends seamlessly with the 8.5's,as it should.By trying both for center duty the mismatch should be terribly apparent.Sale the C-7, or keep it for a play purty.
