Outlaw VS. HK

Im wanting to buy a reciever soon, and am very concerned about 2ch performance.

Does anyone have experience with either the AVR120, HK's 2ch reciever, ( 75 watt one) and how the sound QUALITY match up to each other. If you had to have either for music on;y, and they cost the same , what would you choose? I ask this because although I love surround sound, many at this forum say quality is more important the quantity. I agree with that also.

second question. How would an Outlaw 1050 compair to the two listed above?

Im planning on buying RF3II's.

Thanks!

While I'm not familiar with the receivers you mention, I can tell you the Outlaw 1050 provides top notch sound quality. It would work very well with any of the Klipsch reference speakers and, of course, would also provide A/V surround options. Great customer service also.

I have and older HK AVR20II that I use for 2 channel and my HT it is 60w x2 and it sounds very good on my Klipsch LaScala's. You would have to spend alot more money to get a better sound, and then if you decide to go HT, you would have a good start.
