If I go with the best BD drive and the best sound and video cards available, why would I buy a stand alone player? Has anyone gone this direction? No reason. I use my OPPO for when someone drops by with a CD and the computer isn't booted and similar convenience reasons. Also for DVD's, SACD's (still funcitionally unrippable), and such.
