I'm still using my Card Deluxe (and they are still selling it) and my ESI Pro, but I'll bet I couldn't hear the difference in this at less than half the price (around 200.00 I understand). It was on the cover of $tereophile, and while (what a surprise) the review said it didn't quite match up the high priced (2k and up) spread that it was nearly perfect. I'd take that with a grain of salt. Maybe the whole shaker give we are talking $tereophile here. In any event, those building music servers or using PC's for music should take a look/listen. If HTPC is in your future, you may want to wait for Xonar HDAV1.3 with HDMI connections...a first, I believe. Asus Skunk Works guys have been working overtime on audio lately and look like they are doing some great work. Same for Via. Treats for geeks...
