pHEnomIC69
I have some forte's and a sub-10. I want to add a center and surround channels to make a 5.1 setup. What are some decent speakers that will work well with this. I would like some smaller speakers that can be wall mounted for the rear ones. Moderators dtel Posted January 6, 2010 Moderators Share Posted January 6, 2010 I use forte ll's also in a 6.1, I am not sure what would be a good match for rears to hang on the wall. If I had to guess it would depend on how much you wanted to spend, either Reference surround speakers or Synergy surrounds. Synergy is cheaper than Reference but there is nothing wrong with them especially for surround speakers. For the center it much more important, best choice is another forte but that does not always work with different rooms. If the front main speakers are not real far apart you could just set the center to phantom or whatever you receiver setting is that sends the center signal to the front 2 mains. nguyendot
I use a pair of black forte II's, a KG4 center and RB25 rears, and it's AMAZING. Not the best match, i'd rather have a Forte II center...but amazing
