Heritage Specs

Can anyone point me to a source or link that acurately describes all the differences in the various models of Cornwalls, La Scalas, etc.

There is sooo much confusion when shopping these things. What's the difference between a Cornwall 1, 2, 3? What's a Decorator Cornwall? Plastic sqwauker horns verses metal ones, veneer codes, mitered corners verses butt corners, outside mount v inside mount, on and on...

There has to be a handy reference somewhere??

Thanks

Hope it's ok for me to post this attachment. Got it from the Klipsch website.

Also you can look up any specific speaker. Here's an example:

The 'specifications' page shows what internal components were used, frequency response, dimensions, weight, etc.

Hope this helps.

Except when you look up Cornwall, the pic isn't correct. There is a woman on ebay selling a cornwall, but she says it is a Cornwall II. Icontacted her but she hasn't changed the listing. She even has a shot of one of the labels, so you can look up the date of manufacture.

There are some errors on the Klipsch site so you still have to be careful. It still doesn't cover all the veneers, cabinet construction, drivers,...
