Budget discontinued bookshelf speakers, with bass?

I am knocking around ideas for a new bedroom theater experience. What would be a good set of klipsch BOOK SHELF speakers that are discontinued that have some good bass response. Looking for something that I may have to refurbish but can find for a sweet price. Any certain models that REALLY jump out for good bass response (and of course sound great through out all frequency ranges) I am not opposed to passive radiators.

With the RB-5's, don't let the published specs fool you, they put out some killer bass for bookshelves.

I had some RB-5's and they sounded pretty good. I used a sub with them, but I agree they have some decent output for the size, especially with proper placement. The KG 2 model I looked at has a 10" PR on back for extended lows. However, the RB5 is overall a cleaner, more detailed and dynamic speaker.

I think I will go with the KG-3's or KG-3.2's whichever I can find first since there seems to be virtually no difference between the two, am I correct in this assumption?

The specs are on Klipsch's model pages, but either one is a winner.

Look at the specs, they are basically identical, which is why I ask if I am missing something because it looks like they are the same speaker (other than slight difference in dimensions) They did use different woofer and passive radiators, so is there a big sound difference there?
