In this model, turned all the way up is really zero, and decreasing the strength of the output signal is the only capability the control has. USNRET Posted June 6, 2010 Share Posted June 6, 2010 The BDP-83 does have a volume control on the remote which should be left all the way up. Now that we have that cleared up, I'm just glad my Oppo 83 does not have such a control. You're have killed me, now I have to go look.Color me [:$] I have never used the supplied remote and had to read the manual and look at the remote.
