Coytee
Heh heh heh.... not only have I run two HDMI lines across my room, I put in four Cat 6 lines to the same termination points, just in case! [Y]
jdm56
Well, I guess I'll have to wait a while longer to upgrade my component video-only A/V receiver! Maybe I'll just skip HDMI all together. The worst thing is that to maintain compatibility, makers will for years have to jam multiples of FOUR video connections --composite, component, HDMI, and now ethernet-- on the back of their receivers and pre/pro's. muel
That is good news! I've been waiting for this one! Maybe it will help me be more patient waiting to buy any new video equipment. [Y]
Jay481985
I love to have ethernet only, I did not understand why hdmi was invented when ethernet cat5 is 100 mbps while cat5e and cat 6 is 1000 mbps.
