lilacRS
I'm finally setting up our first HT and I would like to use my RB-5's as the front speakers. So which center should I get? Should I find a vintage speaker like the RC-3 or RC-35 to match the RB-5, or would I be better getting the RC-52 or RC-62? I know some of you would say just use the RB-5's as rears and get all new front speakers, but my room configuration requires the of use ceiling/wall speakers for the sides and rears, and bookshelf speaker for the front. Plus my RB-5's sound great and are paid for.... Perry
Stolenrs
the rc-35 would be a good fit with your rb-5's, otherwise if you plan on upgrading latter on I would look at the rc-62. ~ross
wuzzzer
RC-62 if you want to go new, otherwise RC-35 or RC-3.
bongo4
RC-7! I have the RB-5II's and to my ear they are great. Sure, the Rc-7 is -4 or something but they do plend.
Zen Traveler
Welcome to the forum, lilac RS....Fwiw, I would find a good deal on the RC-3 because that is the center channel that was voice-matched to the RB-5s.
