Rivernuggets
I saw Hi Fidelity ten years ago in the theater. Still love it. Some of the relationship aspects get old after many watches, but the music store scenes will live forever. I worked in a used & new CD store in the mid to late nineties, and this movie captures that music obsession I saw (and am a part of) very well. It's a fun one. thebes
I liked that movie too! Cusak doesn't have the acting range he thinks he does, but that role was perfect for him. Amusing characters, decent love interest and the man was back into wax before wax became cool again.
Rivernuggets
Watching and enjoying this all over again. There is a Klipsch speaker, model 3.1 I think, around 35 minutes in. In all the times seeing this I haven't noticed until now. Does this affect my Klipsch forum member standing? Hope I don't get a warning or anything. Thaddeus Smith
*races off to fire up the movie* ... I like his binge organizing scenes. I spent over a week re-tagging my music files this past december and I was thinking of that movie the whole time. it's also funny how many bands jack black and todd louiso rattle off that are common components in my listening sessions now, but that I had never heard of when the movie first came out. Rivernuggets
*races off to fire up the movie* ... Haha, sweet! I like his binge organizing scenes. Yeah yeah! "......Autobiographical." "No F___ing way." And all of the scenes in the music store are so well written, true and funny.
