Jasonscott
Just came across an old sw-8 subwoofer for sale and was wondering if it might be worth picking up. I have a pair of rf-82's that need just a little help with the lower stuff. Would this be a worth while sub??
wuzzzer
Not really. You already have 4 8" woofers, adding 1 more won't add much to the mix. Not that driver size is the sold determination of a sub's performance and output, but 8" is super small for a sub and I believe the SW-8 is the smallest home theater sub that Klipsch has ever made. The Klipsch Synergy Sub-12 is a super performer for the money and turn up for sale anywhere from $250-350.
willland
Truthfully, a sub like that would probably only be good in complimenting maybe a pair of RB-61's in a 2 channel rig. JMO. Bill
