chef73
I have a yamaha rx-v663 receiver and i am thinking of using it as a preamp. The multi channel amp i am thinking of getting is the outlaw 7125. The question is my receivers preout section is rated at 1 V and the outlaw input sensitivity is rated at 1 v also so will i get the maxium signal flow to the amp with these ratings? I have heared some people talk about hooking up an amp to a receiver and not getting enough power to their speakers. Just wondering if this sounds like a good match before I invest in an amp. Thank you
willland
I don't know how factual this is but it does seem logical. http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/archive/index.php/t-1071000.html Bill
wuzzzer
That is a valid thing to consider but the specs you've listed of your receiver and your amp sound like they'll mesh perfectly.

chef73
which amp do you have? I am thinking about getting the upa-7. How much space do you have in your cabinet for your amp? I heard emos don't run very hot so you don't need a lot of breathing room.
