garyrc
Can a Heresy III be run with good results and without damage when laying on its side (i.e., horizomtally) so it will fit on an existing shelf. We're thinking of this for a rear channel. Is there any loose glass wool that would slide into the wrong area if the Heresy III is operated (forever) on its side? Jay481985
Sure, why not? Many people have put their heritage on their sides. Just remember though the horn is 60X90 I believe and was optimized while standing up. But since you say its for a rear channel its not so important. Also if you are going to lay it down on the side I suggest a piece of felt cloth or something to prevent it from scratching.
Moderators dtel Posted December 9, 2010 Moderators Share Posted December 9, 2010 What he said. [Y] I do it and it works fine, just point those horns at the center of where you sit.
