Ironsave
I sold these to my Gf's cousin. We go there at minimum; once a month; or every other Friday night. Basically; it is having some drinks; hanging in the basement; and watching videos. He has an older 5.1 Kenwood HT. (100w x 5; I had this exact receiver; it is very decent)..... First his sub died; so I found him a decent 10" 150w Bash Pioneer sub for $50. He blew one of his Kenwood mains; so I offered to bring over the KG 3s and let him try them out. These things sing. Another family member who has experience with setting up for gigs arrived about an hour later. First words out of his mouth were "Holy (bleep)!!!! He then commented on the clarity and depth. We rocked till almost 1am..... They sound really good. I never did refinish them cosmetically (did the grill covers and replaced a bad crossover). Hoping these will provide enjoyment for years to come.........[H]
runninshine
It's hard to let go of your stuff but, it helps to know that someone else will enjoy them for years to come.

It's much easier in this case; because now; when we go there, I will enjoy good quality sound....... [H] (It really sounds great)
RT FAN
There is a lot of joy to be had in the giving of a gift, especially one that helps someone. It doesn't hurt that you have "visitation rights." Nice going. []
