bhendrix
I'm trying to find a physically small two-channel amp for music that has a RCA subwoofer out. I want to power a pair of WB-14's and a XW-300 sub for an office. Don't need/want much power. I've been looking for a little Class-T amp with sub out, but haven't seen one. Any thoughts or ideas?? Thanks!!
MechMan
Curious...No way to just use some y connectors from the pre out that run to the amp AND the sub?
bhendrix
Hi Rick, I haven't seen anything small that also has the pre out. A "standard-sized" receiver would work, but I'm looking for something very simple and small that sounds good.
willland
I'm trying to find a physically small two-channel amp for music that has a RCA subwoofer out. How about a NAD integrated. Preouts, sub preouts, 50w/ch, small profile. bhendrix
The NAD is a great unit. The NAD is still 17" wide. I'm looking for something the size of the Trends Audio or Dayton Audio little T-amps, like the size of an iPhone box.
mustang guy
What about a sub with speaker outs? A computer, ipod, or mp3 could go into the L/R RCA in with an adapter from Radio Shack, and you are golden.
mustang guy
edit: Promedia 2.1 system does what you need. The only thing is you would not be using the speakers you have. Scratching head. I also thought a simple DAC might work, but no sub out. Perhaps a DAC with pre outs. I have seen 50 and 80 watt stereo dacs that were small. bhendrix
I have promedia 2.1 in there now. I'm thinkin'/wonderin' if the XW-300 and a pair of RB-25s would be any better . . . .
