IndyKlipschFan
Justin.... I thought the "We Are The World" album was the biggest seller of all time. (Worldwide Sales). Biggest single of all time was tha adaptation of "Goodbye Englands Rose" from "Goodbye Norma Jean".... by Elton John. "Thriller" was the nuber one selling album in the USA yes...38 million + - sold And Finally your ? Might Still be Peter Frampton..."Frampton comes alive!" I am pretty sure I am close on these...... Mike Lindsey
Being someone who grew up in the 70's (teenager), I remember when Peter Frampton's "Comes Alive" took over the number one seller of all time from Carole King's "Tapestry". Shortly thereafter, Fleetwood Mac's "Rumors" relegated it to second place. And it wasn't long after that when Michael Jackson's "Thriller" took over the number one spot and held it for many years. Believe it or not, there is a new kid in town sitting at number one and that's the Eagles' "Greatest Hits", which has surpassed Thriller as the all-time sales leader. I didn't do any research here so you may want to check some websites but I'm pretty sure I'm right. I think Frampton's live album is still number one and Boston's first album is the all time selling debut album. BTW, sure do miss all the great bands from the 70's. Not sure what the hell is going on in today's music scene... Mike ------------------ My Music Systems

You can read all this in the Guiness book of records..and the Billboard Music archives. Mine is a year old, but I do not think anyone was really over the top in 2001? avman
knew it was frampton-anyone seen the hd frampton concert? btw-saw e.l.o.-out of the blue as 1st concert WITHOUT my parents-1976.some live recordings on dvd-be careful not to get a 'talkumentary'. boston-one of my favorite bands.some other boston notes for you: bottom-dwellers-try 'the journey' track-deep sustained pedal bass,w/a deeper tone at the end of the song. 10 years between the 2nd and 3rd album, barry gudreau(sp?)the other lead guitarist and brad delp the singer, release an album-barry gudreau-with a hit single "dreams". 'third stage'-great, and a long time coming. 'walk on'-they could have saved the effort-no brad delp-NO BOSTON-tom sholtz even sounded like he put rifts in just to add the 'boston sound'-but w/out delp, it 'aint boston. after third stage, i saw RTZ at tipatina's:brad delp and barry gudreau doing songs from 'return to zero' a must have for 'boston' fans!! if you can do w/out tom sholtz. avman. ------------------ 1-pair klf 30's c-7 center ksps-6 surrounds RSW-15 sony strda-777ES receiver upgraded to v.2.02 including virtual matrix 6.1 sony playstation 2 sony dvpnc 650-v 5-disc dvd/cd/SACD changer dishnetwork model 6000 HD sat rcvr w/digital off-air tuner sony kv36xbr450 high-definition 4:3 tv sharp xv-z1u lcd projector w/84" 4:3 sharp screen Bello'international Italian-made a/v furniture panamax max dbs+5 surge protector/power conditioner monster cable and nxg interconnects/12 gua.speaker wire Natuzzi red leather furniture set KLIPSCH-So Good It Hz!
