TasDom Posted January 10, 2012 Share Posted January 10, 2012 I was reading some reviews and post on another forum and came across this: (copied and pasted) I bought this AVR unit from Amazon during black Friday and I opened it today.I just connected the unit to power cord and then connected Cable box to AVR via HDMI and then TV to AVR via HDMI.Now I get the picture on my TV but absolutely no sound!I think I am doing some silly mistake due to my insufficient knowledge about these devices. I spent quite some time on Google and on this forum but could not figure out the issue.Please note that I have not yet connected my speakers to AVR at all. Just wanted to go step by step.Please help!
