quadklipsh
Hi guys , Just wanna know if klipsch subwoofers are best for matching with my RF3s. My experience of klipsch makes me say this that klipsch speakers sound fast accurate and brutal . They donot sound limpy or cheesy like some very laid back and boomy speakers .... Since subwoofers generally have to move a lot of air and add a bit of that boom to the sound ,to make it. Heavy and pleasant , I suppose klipsch subwoofers would again carry that same tight and not so boomy character .I guess they too would sound dry or less visceral than the other highly regarded subs like SVS and the velodyns . Many klipsch fans donot use klipsch subs ...... I know I should listen to em all side by side but maybe that's not easily possible in my town. Plz pour in your thoughts . Are klipsch visceral enough or just tight n dry.
Danzo
Klipsch RSW series are good subs. Have you considered Danley or Tuba DIY types or are you just after powered subs? You can pretty much build any bass you want if you can be bothered to put effort in. Sense of achievement also enhances experience Good luck in your search.
