CaptnBob
I'm looking at a McIntosh MX 100 z series tuner preamp with a multiplex light that's always on more or less. I vaguely recall there was an easy way to deal with this (besides sticky tape) but I seem to have forgotten it. Any ideas? Thanks Bob A. CaptnBob
I did. Mike said to replace the 6U8 on the multiplex corner. Smart guy, that Mike.
Moderators Travis In Austin Posted January 17, 2012 Moderators Share Posted January 17, 2012 Now the fun begins in finding a good 6U8. I gave two NOS Telefunkens (pink lable) to Timmikid when I sold my MX-110 to him. He might have an extra he is willing to part with. Tom Mobley
I have a couple Telefunken ECF82, I bought these from Brent Jesse (IIRC) as NOS. I haven't used them I need a couple comparable quality 7247s. Not really even trade type thing but WTH.
