Scrappydue
Anyone in LA area or lower have an SVS subwoofer? I am really wanting to hear one of these before I throw two grand at something, no matter how many good reviews I read.
elitedemo
heres something to take a look at also before throwing 2 grand at them, looks like a rythmik fv15hp goes back and forth with a ultra while costing almost half and also beats it in many response areas, wish I could find mine in there as its probably preforming somewhere in the vacinity http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:MlxXixtIKugJ:www.audioholics.com/reviews/speakers/subwoofers/lfm-1-ex-review/Audioholics%2520Excel%2520compilation.xls+FV15HP+max+db&cd=2&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us if your open to other brands ed, rythmik, seaton submersive, and epik dual empires with all cost about the same or less and provide great bang for buck if your not open to other brands I don't think youd be disappointed with their flagship, Ive had 2 other svs subs and theyve preformed very well
Shodrewken
You didn't mention the company, but Hsu has some pretty good quality subs. I own the VTF3 mk3 and it's a butt kicking' sub. The mk4 is out now, but the 3 should give you a good idea on how it would sound. I also have the turbo that helps for even lower extension. I'm in long beach area so let me know if I could be of service.
Scrappydue
Viper, I would love to come hear your setup sometime. Berm dying to see an emotive amp as well. Just heard about them about a month ago.

A pair of those puppies (or even a single) is nothing to sneeze at.
