Moderators dtel Posted May 3, 2012 Moderators Share Posted May 3, 2012 Picked up a pair at a auction for a forum member, they are heavy and large. [:S] All 526 pounds of EACH one, this was them in storage. Remove the mid bass horn and the tweeter and that's what I'm listening to right now. Moderators dtel Posted May 4, 2012 Moderators Share Posted May 4, 2012 I was thinking about what you said, in a 50x50 or much bigger room it would be unbelievable, open a movie theater, or even outside, they could easily cover a few hundred people. I would love to hear that.
Boxx
7 of these in my house, just for fun. http://www.klipsch.com/kpt-mcm-4-t-grand There would be a lot of dusting involved with those units.... lol..
ivanhurd
Ain't that the truth. It'd totally be worth it tho.
Moderators dtel Posted May 4, 2012 Moderators Share Posted May 4, 2012 Dusting is easy, leave it alone untill it's thick enough to roll up in a sheet. [] Could be why they don't wait for me to dust ?
Jsaint
Can't wait to see pictures of that room. Keep the kids away from the volume control or forfeit your hearing.

I'd be more worried about me messing with the volume control. "Lemme see what these babys can do..."
Moderators dtel Posted May 4, 2012 Moderators Share Posted May 4, 2012 "Lemme see what these babys can do..." That could be dangerous, you don't want to slip with the volume knob. The back of the MWM says 300 W, I have put about 20-25 W into them, outside in the yard, couldn't imagine what 300 would sound like. [:|] Here is an old advertisement from Klipsch.
