BLOOMIS914
Well, This may be a long shot, but I want to move my C7 to my rear center and modify a KLF-10 or 20 to be used as a horizontal center with my Chorus II mains......Anyone know where I can find a single KLF-10 or 20???? A KLF-30 would work also but might be overkill (if there is such a thing in HT Thanks, Brett ------------------ My system(s): Great Room--- KLF-30's Bi-wired KLF-C7 KSP-S6's Monster cable 14 gauge in-wall cable Audioquest interconnects Niles SPS-4 speaker switch box Niles wall plates Niles in-wall volume controls Marantz SR-8000 Toshiba SD-4205 5 DVD changer Pioneer PDF-1007 301-CD changer Mitsubishi 35" TV Mitsubishi VCR Pioneer VSX-608 Multi-room amp for Outdoor deck Polk All-weather AW2's deck speakers Panamax DBS-8 Surge Protector Master Bath--- Klipsch IC-525's in Master Bath 13" Sony Wega in Master Bath Niles Wall volume control in M/Bath Basement HT----- SE-13HD LCD Projector Da-Lite 52" x 92" High contrast screen Chorus II Mains KLF-C7 Center KSP-S6 Surrounds KSW-15 Front sub KSW-100 Rear sub Pioneer VSX-810 DD/DTS-ES receiver JVC-XV-FA90BK 7 Disc progressive DVD Panamax MAX1000 Surge protector/line conditoner Comcast Digital Cable Philips S-VHS VR-1010 1 Lava Lamp for Ambience Fridge full of beer and plenty of Don Julio, Jagermeister and Jim Beam
krew
Brett if you can find a pair of 30's, I would be interested in one of them for a center. Mike

dougdrake
How 'bout modifying a Forte II for a center? It uses the same midrange driver as the Chorus II, and that's where most of your action is (versus the tweeter, which is the same on the KLF-20 as the Chorus II). Also, the low crossover point is closer (Chorus II 600hz, Forte II 650hz, KLF-20 750hz). JMO... Doug ------------------ My System
Mlstrass
Brett, ebay has them pretty regularly as "scratch & dents" for a good price. That's where I got mine. Good luck...Mike
skonopa
Just tonight, while killing time, I stopped at Tweeters just to shoot the breeze with the manager there. They actually have a pair of KLF-10s there in the showroom (I think somebody traded them up for something else). They want about $700 for the pair. Of course, I had to give them listen since I have never heard anything from the Legend series before. They did indeed sound agressive to me compared to say the RF-7s that I have. Personally, I liked the sound of my RF-7s much better than the KLF-10s that I heard. Still interesting though to get to hear them and still an impressive sounding speaker, especially with rock music. ------------------ Steven Konopa Fredericksburg, VA Denon AVR3802 (Receiver) RF-7 (Fronts) RC-7 (Center) RC-7 (Rear) RS-7 (A Surrounds) Infinity RS2000.5 (B Surrounds - recycled) REL Storm III (Subwoofer 1) Yamaha YST-SW40 (Subwoofer 2 - Recycled) JVC XV-S65GD (DVD) Sharp DX-200 (CD - ancient) RCA DWD490RE (DirecTV/Ultimate TV receiver) Sharp 32 inch (TV)
