michael hurd
I don't know about you , but I'd give the upper edge to the 1 3/4" speaker in your handset over the blo$e accousticrap swivelling cubes anyday. Has anyone seen what the good dr. armand blo$se is getting for his 3-2-1 system ? It seems that there is much merit in marketing classes taught by universities ! 5 channel sound from 2 speakers .... right, I'll believe it when I hear it... TBrennan
You guys gotta set your sights higher. I save my contempt for big-buck "high-end" speakers with Madisound Catalog chinless 6" woofers and tragic dome tweets. Bose doesn't bother me. SOUNDJUNKIE
Yeah, but the big $$ "ME" generation X'ers who pay for that overpriced junk deserve what they get...it's the hard working little guy who is getting burned by Matt Puke and ARM&BLOWS that really light my jets. OK, so I almost fell hard for that crap...I see the light. This message has been edited by SOUNDJUNKIE on 06-05-2002 at 09:45 PM

kenratboy
Have you seen the woofers on Legacy Audio? They are small magnet, stamped steel frame. Not even close to Klipsch quality. However, you do get a lot of speaker for the buck. ------------------ Receiver: Sony STR-DE675 CD player: Sony CDP-CX300 Turntable: Technics SL-J3 with Audio-Technica TR485U Speakers: JBL HLS-610 Subwoofer: JBL 4648A-8 Sub amp: Parts Express 180 watt Center/surrounds: Teac 3-way bookshelfs Yes, it sucks, but better to come. kenratboy
What do you mean by PA system? Do you mean like a full-range horn, like at a cheap sporting event, or a sound reincorcement system, like woofers and tweeters. ------------------ Receiver: Sony STR-DE675 CD player: Sony CDP-CX300 Turntable: Technics SL-J3 with Audio-Technica TR485U Speakers: JBL HLS-610 Subwoofer: JBL 4648A-8 Sub amp: Parts Express 180 watt Center/surrounds: Teac 3-way bookshelfs Yes, it sucks, but better to come.
