SCW-2 in-walls and insulation

I installed a new set of SCW-2's this weekend to augment my KSF-S5 rear channels. Having 4 rear/sides provides a really nice surround fill.

Anyway, the walls where I put the SCWs contained insulation that was ripped up a bit when I ran the speaker wire. Since I didn't want to put the speakers directly into the pink insulation, I inserted a piece of cardboard into the wall as a backing and then placed the speaker module against the cardboard before tightening everything up.

I can't imagine that this will be an issue, but have I created some sort of fire hazard by adding the cardboard backing? It sits right between the insulation and the speaker.

Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
