Turbox
Just wondering if anyone has any plots for the LF- KPT-MWM-LF?
Chris A
Mark1101 has posted his MWMs' performance in-room with plots of his other horns/drivers conveniently laid on top of the same plot. The MWM is the plot that peaks the second from the left: http://forums.klipsch.com/forums/p/149832/1573067.aspx#1573067 Additional information: http://community.klipsch.com/forums/storage/19/1613917/MCM1900good.pdf , I'm sure that Mark can fill you in on the details of his room placement and EQ used. Turbox
Those are good but, Im looking for a plot of the MWM only, no xover, just looking for the raw plot frequency response for the LF bin only.
BEC
Here is a plot I did a few years ago. Bob Crites
garyeanderson
Here is a plot I did a few years ago. Bob Crites Hi Bob Excuse my ignorance, was this plot taken with the MWM in the air?, on the floor?, against a wall?, or in a corner? Thanks
BEC
I think that plot was with the MWM sitting out in the middle of my shop floor. I was not interested at the time in trying to look at the lower frequencies, just seeing where to cross to the HF. I decided on 500 hz. for the crossover frequency with the K-402 and Faital HF200. garyeanderson
Hi Bob Thanks for the reply. I guess thats halfspace then. They are still on my to do list but are on the slow boat as too much else hanging around. Need to do a cleanup sometime. Have a great holiday and thanks agiain
Turbox
Thats what i was wondering as well bob, xover frequency, think you could get away with something higher than 500?
BEC
Thats what i was wondering as well bob, xover frequency, think you could get away with something higher than 500? Well, you could try higher, but at 600hz, you would lose another 5db or so of output. I think the resultant plot would be better crossing at 500hz if your driver can handle it. Here is the full range plot I got with the network I built.Bob Crites
Guest " "
they are always crossover at 300hz and often used with a mid bass driver. below shows 40hz to 450hz +-5db. 402 with 1133/32 def not a 402 with a k-69.
