Mighty Favog
The Atlas PD5VH drivers just arrived on my desk at work to complete Phase 1 for the Cornscala 2 project. Now that all the tools have been aquired it's onto to Phase 2.... ordering the horns. (need only a little more money first). []

Dr Morbius
You mentioned Cornscala 2 project - is that the equivalent to "Cornscala Type B" ?
Mighty Favog
Bob used to call the Cornscala made from the Cornwall cab a Cornscala 2. I guess the title changed. Anyway, this will be Style A with drivers mounted from the back and not recessed.

Daddy Dee
So, what horns are you going to be using? You've got all the drivers together for phase 1? What else have you got going in the cabs?
Mighty Favog
Hi DD, Dave is making me his Fastrac CW horns, should be here by the end on the month. The CW's already have Bob's CT125's, cast woofers and B3's nets but my long term goal was still to make them into Cornscalas. They currently have the K57 mids with the K600 horn but between doing enough reading from Al K., Dave Harris (GotHover) and their customers, I just, as typical, couldn't leave well enough alone. [:$] The biggest chore will be getting them from the living room to the basement (narrow doorways and staircase). I'll take out all the guts and wrap them in moving blankets before calling someone to help with the move. The other question would be why do my CW I's have K57's?? They were made in 84' while the motorboard spacing is of a CWI, they have (had) CWII drivers and nets. I guess some people call them CW1.5's. These/and Bob's nets are crossed at 600Hz rather than 400Hz but I don't mind. According to Al 600Hz is where they should be anyway.
