snailtrax
I have a Pioneer VSX 1121-K playing through a Carver C-1 preamp and a Carver M 1.0t amp for the front channels in my 5.1 home theater setup. The front speakers are Chorus II. They also do double duty as my two channel setup using a cd player or an I pod through my Pioneer 1121 and the Carver stuff. I have tried all possible combinations that I can find with the Pioneer, but for the life of me I can't seem to make the subwoofer work on two channel. The sub is a LAB 12 tapped horn. Now I know that the Chorus II can go very low, but I would like to integrate the sub if at all possible for two channel. Is there a way to make the Pioneer play two channel with a sub? wuzzzer
You'll have to set the Chorus' to small, or turn off any Direct modes on the receiver, or set the Subwoofer to Plus under its options.
Dennie
With my Pioneer Elite, if you have the mains set to large, you have to set the sub to "Sub Plus", as Wuzzzer said. Keep us posted, Dennie
