Klipschorn ID, not in data base? see pics

I just picked up a pair of Klipschorns, 1972 by the k code, but the have a finish code I can not solve.

I am guessing it is Mahogany Stain from the MS but what would the 7 stand for...and the grain seems too fine for birch?

Any body?

M usually stands for Mahogany, sorry i didn't finish reading your post

here's a picture of a pair of verticals also from 72 after i blo'ed them. sold them to HVN ( Noah )

they came from the factory MR for Mahogany raw.

the 7 could be a code for Mahogany

yours look Mahogany Raw like mine did before i oiled them, almost white looking.
