Yes I did. They were spot on! I was suspicious so I posted it in the tubes / valves forum in diyaudio and got confirmation. I got 71 ma on all 4 power tubes, and based on the schematics, pin #8 of EL37 reads 34v. Cathode resistor is 240 ohms. So, current drawn for both tubes is 34v divided by 240 = 142 mA. 71mA per tube...

Ill take it for granted you recapped and rewired everything correctly, so this is my idea.

I suspect when you added the ground, something does not like it. remove ground and fire it up.

No reason to. The amps sound wonderful. I haven't had my solid state setup on since I got the new tubes and caps broken in. These babies are DEAD QUIET. Best investment I have ever made in audio.
