48n123w
Would RCA make it an analog connection (using Airport DAC)? I think from what I read, I need the Airport digital output to use my receiver's DAC.
The Dude
I have been looking at these, or a bluetooth streaming device. I only have one apple device that would stream, but 3-4 android devices that would stream bluetooth. I think I just answered my own question. Glad to see this back up, it makes listening easier. ryanm84
I've read this thread a couple times now and want to confirm a thought or two. I've got a wireless network and my Denon AVR. I should be able to add an air port express and then stream from either my ipad, iPod, or iTunes from my windows laptop. Is there an app that is needed to make this happen or will synching of all these devices with airport express work?
The Dude
I am sure someone will chime in and confirm. But your apple air play device should sync, but your lap top needs another program. Which I think is airfoil, hopefully that helps.
Shodrewken
To answer your question yes. Basically all you need is an 3.5 mm to rca adapter to plug into your denon from the airport express, and then have that input selected on your receiver and turn on the air port streaming on whatever Apple device. Then select the airort express as the device you want to stream to, and you will have your music playing through those speakers.
