BlackGTS
Hello, New guy here. I have bought 2 pairs of Klipsch speakers and a center over the last month in prep for setting up a HT. I scored a pair of Epic C-1s and a pair of RF-3II from CL. I also picked up a KV-2 from EBay. I know these aren't the top of the line Klipschs but to someone who has never had nice speakers, well..... they all sound incredible. I'm not sure which pair I will use as fronts for the HT: I'll try both and determine which sounds better. I will be using a Denon AVR-4802 and a M&K 100 as well as adding a pair of surrounds to finish out a 5.1 My room is 20x22 and will have acoustic panels on the walls and corners. I know which center should be matched up with the RFs but am not sure about the Epics. I picked up the KV-2 cheap and will find a spot for it somewhere else in the house. So which center should I use if I decide to go with the C-1s?
Moderators Youthman Posted September 13, 2013 Moderators Share Posted September 13, 2013 Welcome to the forums. The KV series is the matching center for the CF speakers. []
BlackGTS
Wow. Usually my luck isn't that good! I see that you are right down the road from me. I'm in the beginning stages of building my HT and may hit you up for some local info if that's cool.
BlackGTS
What about surrounds or rears?
Moderators Youthman Posted September 15, 2013 Moderators Share Posted September 15, 2013 You aren't far from me at all. You are welcome to stop by if you are in this area. I'm 5min north of HWy 60. Ill email you my cell. I don't think Klipsch designed surrounds for the CF series
CECAA850
I have a KV-1 that would work for a single rear speaker if you're interested.

BlackGTS
Thanks but I think I'm going to go with 2 surrounds to start with. May expand to 7.1 eventually.
