snailtrax
I bought a pair of KP 250 II. They both have blown or missing mids and tweeter diaphragms. Woofers are good. I think that I got the original motors for the mids along with the purchase. They have a sticker that says K128014 and are 16 ohm. Is this a K 53 K motor? The tweeter motors have no markings, but the horns for the tweeters say K 792 K. Do I have the right motors, and does it appear that all I need is some diaphragms? snailtrax
Looks like I have the wrong mid drivers. I am posting down in Klipsch Pro for help on the mid horns. I need a pair of K 53 K mid drivers and the correct horn lenses for the KP 250 II. I will post a WTB in the garage sale when I get all this sorted out. snailtrax
That is the mid driver that I have, but I need a pair of K 53 K mid drivers and the correct horns for the KP 250 II's. It appears the previous owner did some homebrew repairs. Looks like I am probably good on the tweeter drivers, just need the diaphragms. Thanks, Bill
CECAA850
Won't Bob's titanium diaphrams fit those?
CANT
Yes, Bob Crites diaphragms fit the KP-792/K-107.
CANT
You should be able to put a K-53 or K-52 in your KP-250 II's if you want but the drivers you have are what came with them? Since I can't see your horns and you make them sound homemade, I don't know about them? There is a picture of the KP-66-E, which is the correct horn/driver for your speaker, contained within the the post bearing its name in this section. CECAA850
Yes, Bob Crites diaphragms fit the KP-792/K-107. That's the direction he needs to go then. I think they're $58/pair plus shipping.
