Bonzo
I have a very nice Marantz 2262B I am sadly going to part with. Since I got a completely restored Fisher X-200 tube amp, the Marantz has been relegated to a headphone amp. It is just too nice to be in that roll. The restoration work was done by Luis Galvez at Stereoadvisor in Sacramento, CA. He re-capped the tone board and phono board. The speaker relay was cleaned and he replaced a couple of suspect caps in the power supply. All the controls were cleaned and lubed and all the lamps replaced. This work was done about a year ago and I have used it sparingly since. It works flawlessly and has that warm vintage Marantz sound with plenty of punch. The only cosmetic issue of note is a dingus on the lower right corner of the faceplate, see pic. I can provide more pictures on request and happy to answer any questions. I am asking $300 for it plus actual shipping costs from Redding, CA via FedEx ground. This one is truly plug and play. Thanks Edited December 15, 2013 by Bonzo
willland
I owned a 2252B for over 2 years and it was a wonderful sounding piece that really mated well with my Heresys and Quartets. Very nice tuner and like many of the 70's Marantz receivers, it has preouts so you could experiment with outboard amps if you feel the need. This specimen here looks to be in very good condition. Good luck with your sale, Bill
