48n123w
I currently have a RC-52 with a pair of RB-61, but it seems the center is lacking. If I can't find an RC-62, would the RC-35 be a good alternative? Edited February 13, 2014 by granto67
willland
IMO, the RC-35 is a better speaker in theory than the RC-52, but comes up lacking a bit. Not to say it is a bad speaker, but the RC-62 is clearly superior. The RC-35 will sound better/fuller than the RC-52 but will sound a bit veiled compared to the RC-62. It would be an okay temporary center speaker if your price of entry is minimal(less than $200.00). Bill
Moderators Youthman Posted February 13, 2014 Moderators Share Posted February 13, 2014 I totally agree with Bill. You will be much better off to be patient and locate an RC-62. WakeJunkie had the RF-3ii system and it sounded great but I told him the only thing that wasn't that impressive was the RC-3ii. I've heard the RC-52 vs RC-62 and it's a significant upgrade. I believe the RC-62 is a fantastic center. There are currently 3 on Ebay right now. Here are 7 on Craigslist $200 - Link $300 - Link $300 - Link $300 - Link $350 - Link $350 - Link $400 - Link
Moderators Youthman Posted February 13, 2014 Moderators Share Posted February 13, 2014 Here are two in complete systems (seller might separate) System 1 System 2 And here are two RC-64ii that would work great on the cheap RC-62ii New in Box for $350 - Link RC-62ii & RB-81 for $800 (might be willing to separate) - Link As you can see, it's not like there is a shortage of RC-62. They come up often.
