JFT
Hello fellow Klipscheads: I just signed up and ready to hear back from you all. I have a pair of Heresy's and I have been looking up on the web for some info. My Heresy's have a type D cross-over and I have not had any luck on finding out about the specs or other related info. I see that many of you Klipsch fans have a huge amount of knowledge and facts on every detail on the Heritage line of Klipsch loudspeakers. So, I am all ears and ready to hear back. Thanks

Bill W.
Hey JFT, If you compare the schematic for the type E network posted above with your type D, you will see the only difference is the reversal of polarity on the midrange and tweeter relative to the woofer. The type E provides some cancellation in output centered around 700 hz where the woofer and midrange output overlap. This makes the lower midrange sound less full, less prominant. To hear what that is like, simply reverse the leads on the midrange and tweeter where they attach to the terminal strip.
jcmusic
Curious why switch both mid and tweeter instead of just the mid???
