SWL
That sub may be hard to get fixed depending on where you live. If you really like the sub, think on converting it to a passive sub with a proamp driving it. It is not hard to do and may be cheaper than a repair. A berhinger I Nuke 3000 would do it!. Thanks for the idea. My RSW-15 is working fine but if the amp takes a dump I've got an EP-4000 sitting here doing nothing.
bbladesbrett
Update. Finally ohm checked the active speaker and it is open. Speaker shot. Replacement $375. Hmmmmm. Anybody got one? Oh yeah, found a second identical black wire not connected in cabinet. Assembler must of forgot what he was doing or took a break while connecting the power cord to the amp........... Thanks, Brett

bbladesbrett
Better late than never follow up. Replaced driver works great. There is a harmonic hum at certain levels. It seems the enclosure vibrates when the correct frequency is touched. It is rare and at very high level so not really a issue. Moved the amp to the bottom of the cabinet too too make it more secure. This thing is a real beast. I love it! Brett
