Heritage_Head
I've thought about doing a phantom center, but I'm concerned that I'd have "anchoring" problems since people will be sitting in all areas of this room. It's not a "dedicated" theater room with a sweet spot in the middle. I'm thinking that a prominent center will anchor the dialog/etc to the TV area, no matter where you're sitting in the room. Am I way off base with that line of thinking? You have the 7s now. I would try them as a phantom and if you feel its not to what you wanted then try a center. It costs nothing to try it. I run a phantom in one of my set ups and you would never know by the sound it. Imo the center will become the most important speaker if you use one. Its not a great spot for a week link.
