pete1729
Is there any advantage to remounting the drivers on the front of the motor board/baffle so they are flush? I have all the necessary skills and equipment to do this.

Later networks had the polarity reversed and had a higher order filter on the woofer, so who knows. So doing it for an older Cornwall with a K-55V would help, a little. How audible it is depends on your hearing sensitivity to phase changes between 400 and 800 Hz. Edited June 1, 2014 by ClaudeJ1
pete1729
Not sure which Cornwall you are talking about. Thanks, sorry not to have been more precise. I have late Cornwall I's with the B3 network and K52 mids. Does this model have phase reversed midrange drivers? I understand the effects may be subtle, but my examples need a fair amount of work. I'd just as soon do it all at once and for the better.
djk
It's worthwhile with the tweeter, less so for the mid horn.
rbrown0678
possibly , though whatever benefit might be gained ,I'm sure other option would yield much better results,
