DizRotus
I saw this show last night at DTE Energy Theater (formerly named and forever referred to as Pine Knob Theater). It was a great show. If it's in your area, it's worth the time and money. At 73 (74 on 7/7/14), Ringo is fit and trim with tons of energy and enthusiasm. Todd Rundgren, at 66, was also a treat to watch and hear. The other musicians were also excellent. You get the feeling that they perform a grinding tour schedule because they enjoy performing, they enjoy each other's company and they appreciate the reaction of the audience. I doubt Ringo is doing it just for the money. In addition to some of Ringo's songs, Rundgren's songs and Beatles' songs, they played an eclectic mix of high energy tunes, including three Santana numbers. ClaudeJ1
I haven't been to Pine Knob in a few years. Saw Santana there with his fantastic drummer new wife a few years back. Steve Winwood was the opener. Great show.
