Thaddeus Smith
I think these would mate well with a little sub like that. Except for some really bass heavy music, these are quite pleasant. The mids and highs are really crystal clear and the bass that is present is really tight and punchy. I like them at 3ft and at 10ft, but especially at 3ft. Overall the finish is in decent shape, but inconsistent. I'll probably use these as an opportunity to do a small project with my dad - sand the cabs down and oil them, replace the eye bolts with some basic black bolts, etc. The crossovers are not pcb mounted to the terminal cup and in fact are of similar size and construction to my Cornwall crossovers and mounted on the interior panel. Ha! except these are cubes in raw birch plywood that just need a good sanding and oiling.
