Hey Chad. what's Up With the Search Feature

What was the point of migrating all those old posts if you can't search them.  Everytime I go looking for something result are only for this year.

Case in point today I went looking for owners of a Marantz 3250, and it only shows 2014 year results even after setting the date parameters in Advance Search..

There is tons of very good info being blocked for no apparent reason.

I'm aware the search is currently sub-optimal (it's a known issue with this forum software). There is a completely new search engine in the next major version of the software, which is likely coming out this year. 

There is a workaround (aside from the google search workaround I mention in a post linked above) that MAY improve it in the meantime that requires some forum downtime to implement, and I've not had a chance to do that. I sincerely apologize. I wish I was cloned!

BTW - I just did a search for "Marantz 3250" and got some results dating back to 2006 (this was after I made a slight change to search setup so I don't know if that affected it)
