paul79
Really just depends on how much sound tailoring you want to do. It can be useful if you need it.
mustang guy
I've heard many definitions of the HSM acronym. Heresy Slant Monitor Heresy Stage Monitor and now Heresy Slant Mount Can anybody in the know clarify which of these is the original?

wldrns1
I've heard many definitions of the HSM acronym. Heresy Slant Monitor Heresy Stage Monitor and now Heresy Slant Mount Can anybody in the know clarify which of these is the original? Off Topic I know... Here's one of mine. Yes, upside down per DeanG. Wood below it is home made mount. Other photo is recessed connector panel. Other than the panel and shape, don't see a lot of potential 'Industrial' applications or variation. I'm original owner from '82. Panel says HS-M so not definitive per your question. Standard E crossovers of the era. Would guess mine were intended for the home market...life on the road would be tough. Other HSM's were tricked out to take more of a beating. I like mine sound-wise for what Heresy's are and seems not many around like these. Just FYI.

Ability to tailor would be a nice feature. An 850 or higher. It's settled (for now).
paul79
Yep, and a great choice for your speakers I might add... No real need for any more than 65wpc with the speakers you have.
muel
I barely get my 1250 to 9:00 on the volume most of the time! What does "need" have to do with anything ?
paul79
Just costs The 1250 is and always will be the grandfather of all receivers. Nothing gives you more than that in receiver land.
