mickeyclark1
I want to sell (Locally in Louisville, KY) my 2 black 1977 Klipsch La Scala PA speakers that I bought new. They work perfectly but the wood edges have a few dings. Any idea what might be a fair asking price? Your input is greatly appreciated. CECAA850
A lot of the price is determined by the cabinet condition. I'll put the first guess at $800.00. More will chime in shortly with alternate values I'd guess.
kaiser SET say
I'd say that is a pretty fair call CECA, these exquisite cabs were given to me and I've sank about $1100 parting them back up

colterphoto1
I realize that there was no intention of misrepresenting them here, I thought this info could be useful: Although these are painted black and may have been used for PA speakers they are most probably not what we call LSI, the industrial variety. There are several tell-tale signs. Labels, lack of split section on back with jack cup, copper badges (laser, aren't these? those are hard to come by), and probably the woofer hatch door surface mounted (not let into the cabinet) are signs that these are standard LaScala boxes, just to help make that clear. The woofers would be different between the two varieties as well, but you have to remove 16 screws to discover that.
