m00n asks:

But take the movie Titan AE for example, when the space ships fly by, they have this..... well, almost whistle whine kind of sound. Is that because they have horns rather than tweaters?

Are you talking about those little Druj fighter ships? If so, they have always had that kinda whiny sound to them (the setup I had before the Klipsch was not to shappy in of itself ). I am willing to bet (and I have noticed this myself), that due to the much greater amount of detail that you get out of the RF-7s, the sound is much more noticable. I peronally think it is really cool. Unfortunatly, I never got to see Titan AE at the movie theater, so I have no comparison as to how it actually sounded in the theater.

Yes the Druj ships... Among other sounds in movies. Again, I stress, that I like the sounds, the clarity, I just suppose I need to get used to it is all. Wink.gif

I like Klipschs because for me they accurately reproduce the sound of LIVE music performances.

Generally speaking, "other" speakers are good for making a relatively compromised "facsimile" of that same music. For reproducing rock music, I have never heard anything that even comes close to Klipsch.

I think a lot of people are just used to listening to cruddy TV & radio speakers all their lives and have forgotten (or never knew in the first place) what real (live) music sounds like. Their speakers may sound "warmer" and all that nonsense, but they do not sound like live music.

With Klipsch I can "feel" the music, to the extent that they make my eyes vibrate to the point that I literally can't see straight.

In any case, this is precisely what I want in a speaker.
