Ave Bona Cornwall
I'm hoping someone can help with this; Klipsch parts couldn't. I have an 8" woofer on my CF-2 that sounds awful. I have tried troubleshooting (cleaning contacts, switching it to different connection, etc), and it still sounds awful. I think I just need to replace it. Since it isn't made, I can either watch Ebay for an exact replacement or just buy another manufacturer's replacement. Any thoughts on what would be a good replacement? This is about the best I can find: http://www.simplyspeakers.com/replacement-speaker-woofer-w-8pc-8.html Or maybe a good site to check out? Thanks in advance. jjptkd
Try and pull the T/S specs from a good driver and then search for a match if you can, good luck!
moray james
why don't you contact a top quality pro re cone shop they can rebuild anything as close as matters. They can attach a new VC to an existing come and get parameters as close as what matters. Best regards Moray James.
Ave Bona Cornwall
Thanks moray james! Do you have any specific ones to suggest? Up here in Maine, the closest "metropolis" is Portland. I'll google it and see what I find, but if you know of any that I can do by mail, feel free to suggest.

Rivervalleymgb
I may be parting out a pair of CF-2. I picked up a pair recently with some crappy cabs. I am going to match the woofers for the set I have restored. Then, build a center channel speaker out of a horn and two woofers; sell the rest.
