Don Richard
While looking at another site I came across this video, posted by Tom Danley, concerning how what we see can affect what we hear, or what we think we hear. Very interesting: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-lN8vWm3m0
wvu80
Here's MY proof that perception alters reality. Anyone who grew up in the Beach Boys era and AM radio has NO idea what words are being spoken in the beginning of "I Get Around" just after "I get around..." WHAT?? (town to town) I'm a real good..." WHAT??? (head) "I'm making real good..." WHAT??? (bread) Thanks to the wonderful internet age, we can now ALL sing it with the correct words, not the words we made up back in the 60's. ChuckAb3
Reminds me of Dave Barry's perceived lyrics to 'Bad Moon Rising' ........"there's a bathroom on the right." Hell, I'm not even sure I understood the real lyrics until I started playing the song some years ago.
mungkiman
Try playing ping pong under a tin roof while it's raining. Not as easy as you'd think...
