lightfoot
Can anyone tell me whats the difference with these as I all ready have RF3 for the mains And a RC3 Center? But the Rs3's are very hard to find. I'm told that the only change was that monster wire is used inside them. If so is it very hard to upgrade my current speakers so that all are the same? ------------------ -=lightfoot=-
T2K
Gordon, as far as I know the only difference is the internal wiring. The II is wired with Monster cable wire. Should be no audible difference. Keith

NOSValves
Lightfoot, Currently you can score RF3-II's on ebay for less than $600 shipped in the USA. Not sure what getting them to Canada would do to the cost. I have a set and absolutely love them !! ShapeShifter
lightfoot, Below is a link to a thread where the Klipsch Moderator covered in detail the differences bet RF-3 Series and the upgraded RF-3 II Series. You would need updated II Series Networks as well. I thought it to be cost prohibitive to upgrade my former RF-3's. Felt like any real or percieved performance advantages would be out weighed by cost of wiring and networks. Just my humble opinion. http://216.37.9.58/ubb/Forum1/HTML/001446.html Wes ------------------ KLIPSCH IS MUSICf> My Systems f>s>c> This message has been edited by ShapeShifter on 08-11-2002 at 05:38 PM
